This week, we’re up on the roof, taking in the definitive proof of Spring. In one of the photos, if you look very carefully, you can see three little piggies all tucked up in their new house. The very green grass in the field in front of them is winter rye, which is mostly going to be used for straw for same pigsters.
The big project of the summer is going to be fixing the roof. You can see the damage this winter caused - with water coming all the way through to the ground floor.
If there’s a hole, it should be looked in to. After the plumber, came the drain unblockers. By this time next week, I will have had a shower. At the barracks.
Thank you, as always for your subscription. It means so much to me that people continue to be interested in the barracks. As always, all paid-for subs are converted immediately into pig food, and we are all four incredibly grateful. Honestly, without you, this would not be possible.

Pirate Ben
